ทุกวันนี้ ยูนิเซฟทํางานรณรงค์เพื่อให้เกิดกฎหมายและนโยบายที่เอื้อต่อการพัฒนาด้านสิทธิเด็ก และให้แน่ใจว่ามีการจัดสรรทรัพยากรทั้งด้านงบประมาณและบุคลากรอย่างเพียงพอเพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายดังกล่าวเจ้าหน้าที่ยูนิเซฟประเทศไทย 50 คนทำงานเคียงบ่าเคียงไหล่กับพันธมิตรเพื่อค้นหาวิธีการใหม่ๆในการปกป้องคุ้มครองเด็กทุกคนในประเทศไทยรวมทั้งทำทุกวิถีทางเพื่อให้มั่นใจได้ว่า ผลประโยชน์จากความก้าวหน้าทางเศรษฐกิจของประเทศไทยจะถูกส่งไปถึงเด็กเปราะบางและขาดโอกาสที่สุดในสังคม

การที่ทุกภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องมาร่วมมือกันจะสามารถนำเราไปสู่วันที่เด็กทุกคนในประเทศไทยได้รับโอกาสที่เท่าเทียมกันในการเติบโตในสภาพแวดล้อมที่ปลอดภัยและเป็นสุข และสามารถแสดงศักยภาพของตนเองอย่างเต็มที่ โดยไม่มีการแบ่งแยกเพศชาติพันธุ์ ภูมิหลังทางสังคมและเศรษฐกิจหรือสถานะทางกฎหมาย
