การออกแบบพวงหรีดของเราจึงเอาโจทย์นี้เป็นตัวตั้ง โดยพวงหรีดทุกพวงถูกออกแบบให้แยกชิ้นส่วนเป็นชิ้นๆแล้วมาประกอบทีหลัง แทนที่จะออกแบบให้ประกอบเสร็จจากเครื่องจักรในโรงงานทั้งพวง ซึ่งการทำแบบนี้จะทำให้ต้นทุนเราสูงขึ้นมาก แต่การแยกชิ้นนี้กลับทำให้เราสามารถมอบงานให้ชุมชนได้ เราออกแบบให้พวงหรีดนั้นประกอบง่าย คนไม่มีทักษะเด็กหรือคนชราก็ประกอบได้ จึงเป็นรายได้เสริมสำหรับคนที่ต้องการมีอาชีพ มีรายได้เพิ่มเติมไปจุนเจือครอบครัว

พี่น้อยคือหนึ่งในคนในชุมชนที่เราภูมิใจจะยกมาเป็นตัวอย่าง พี่น้อยเป็นแม่ค้าขายหมูปิ้งข้างถนน ที่เคยทำงานมีเงินเก็บ แต่สามปีที่แล้วก็มาพบว่าลูกคนเล็กเป็นมะเร็งมะเร็งเม็ดเลือดขาว จากรายได้เดิมที่คิดว่าพอเพียกลับต้องนำมาจ่ายค่ารักษาลูกหมด พี่น้อยเป็นคนขยันตื่นตั้งแต่ตีสามทุกวันเพื่อมาเตรียมของขาย แต่ว่าต่อให้พี่น้อยจะขยันมากกว่าเดิมแค่ไหน คนซื้อหมูปิ้งก็มีจำนวนเท่าเดิม คนเดินถนนก็มีจำนวนเท่าเดิม และที่สำคัญคือหลังเที่ยงก็จะไม่มีใครเดินซื้อแล้ว ดังนั้นการที่พี่น้อยจะหารายได้ให้มากขึ้นเพื่อมารักษาลูกจึงยากมาก แต่พอมาเริ่มทำพวงหรีด ซึ่งพี่น้อยมาทำหลังจากที่ขายของข้างถนนเสร็จ พี่น้อยก็สามารถมีรายได้เสริมกลับมามีเงินส่งไปรักษาลูกและจุนเจือครอบครัว เรื่องราวแบบนี้จึงเป็นสิ่งที่พวกเราภูมิใจ และอยากทำให้เกิดมากขึ้นในสังคมไทย

นอกจากพวงหรีดแล้ว ในปี 2022 Carenation ตัดสินใจขยายต่อผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เกี่ยวเนื่องในพิธีฌาปนกิจศพ ด้วยการจัดทำของชำร่วยแนวคิดใหม่ ที่สานบุญให้ทั้งคนอยู่ และผู้วายชนม์ต่อไป

เราตัดสินใจสั่งทำแบบการ์ดสานบุญ ของชำร่วยงานศพที่มีให้เลือก 3 แบบด้วยกัน จากนั้น เมื่อมีการสั่งการ์ดสานบุญเข้ามา ชุมชนก็จะช่วยกันจัดพิมพ์รายชื่อแต่ละงาน ตามคำสั่งของเจ้าภาพ เพื่อนำไปประกอบบนตัวการ์ดส่งให้แก่เจ้าภาพงานนั้น ๆ เป็นการเพิ่มรายได้ให้ชุมชนอีกทางเลือก สามารถทำเสริมควบคู่กับการจัดทำพวงหรีดไปสมทบทุนค่าใช้จ่ายในครอบครัวให้มีรายรับมากขึ้น
